I was born and raised in Southern California. At 19, I moved across the country to Florida to finish my undergraduate degree in psychology a year early. Upon graduating from the University of West Florida, I was asked to head the tutoring program at Pensacola High School. I then taught remedial reading to high school students.

I went to law school at Thomas Goode Jones School of Law in Montgomery, AL.
Upon graduating law school early, I went into private practice – first in Fairhope and Orange Beach and then in downtown Birmingham. I relocated to the Gulf Coast in 2013 and have been at my current location in Foley ever
